I'd like comment on your biased views towards the Conservatives. You say how "racist" they are and yet the very first policy of the Green Party is to screen immigrants for criminal records, if that isn't considered racist then what is? Banning same-sex marriage? By the way, if 75% of the population is voting for the NDP/Green/Liberals then why are the Conservatives in power now? Maybe because the Liberals have a dumb ass leader who doesn't know what he is talking about and now the Conservatives have a leader with a brain, heart, intelligence and integrity. How can you support the NDP and Liberals and their views on "spreading the wealth"? As a student I can say that if we are going to spread the wealth then there will be no motivation to be intelligent and succeed in school because my friend who lives on the street will be recieving the same salary as me when I become a doctor! Stupid much? Overall, the Conservatives are not "ConservaNAZIS," they are the only party in Canada that actually has a head on their shoulders and not only a head, but a brain! They are also not in Afghanistan to fight for oil, only the retarded Canadian failures believe that, they are there to fight the war on terrorism. Because if they don't stop it over there, what's going to happen to us over here? Maybe a terrorist attack. I don't think that you should be criticizing and scrutinizing Stephen Harper when he has kept you, me and the rest of Canada safe for the past 3 years. Remember the time 16 terrorists were caught in Toronto, guess who was behind the investigation of them, Stephen Harper! He is looking out for the well being of Canadians unlike Ignatieff who is only back after 34 years to try to be PM, and I'm guessing if he loses he'll be on his way back to Britain or America because he's not in it for you, only himself. Get your facts straight before posting them on a website you ignorant and arrogant feminist scum.

OUR RESPONSE:
Hello!
I am just going correct a few things while I answer your email.
#1. The Canadian government already screens immigrants for criminal records. That is nothing new. Otherwise Canada would become a haven for criminals from the USA and elsewhere.
#2. The Conservatives are in power right now because they won a minority government. A minority government is any party that wins the most seats in parliament, but not enough seats to form a majority.
#3. Stephen Harper has a brain? Ha. You made me laugh. You probably think George W. Bush is a genius then right? Harper is a hack. He just copies other people's policies and adopts them as his own. He even copied the speech from the Australian prime minister a year ago word-for-word.
#4. I support the Liberals because I believe that taxes now unfairly target the general populace, as compared to 60+ years ago when taxes were focused more on corporations. After WWII taxes were roughly 80% corporate and 20% general populace, but during the last 64 years the (Progressive) Conservative Party has cut taxes on corporations and raised taxes on the general populace (Brian Mulroney's GST for example) so that the distribution is now roughly 40% corporate taxes and 60% taxes on the general populace. Do you think that is fair?
#5. Liberalism is not the same as Communism. You seem to be confusing the two. I like you feel that doctors/etc should be paid more than service workers. If anything I am in favour of increasing the amount doctors in Canada are paid so we can prevent brain drain to the USA and increase the number of people interested in becoming doctors.
#6. I support the war in Afghanistan. I think the Liberals under Jean Chretien were absolutely right going to war there and NOT go to war in Iraq (also a decision made while Chretien was still in power).
#7. I don't believe Canada will ever be targeted by terrorism. Nobody wants revenge on us.
#8. Harper didn't keep Canada safe from terrorism. The decision to go to war in Afghanistan was Chretien's. Harper may try to take the credit for the war in Afghanistan, but it was the Liberals who made the decision to go there in 2001. Harper only got into power in February 2006.
#9. Stephen Harper had nothing to do with the capture of those 16 terrorists in Ontario. He just happened to be in power at the time. The RCMP had been conducting surveillance on that group for years before Harper was elected in a minority government.
Maybe you should get your facts straight before you send out hatemail?
Sincerely,
Charles Moffat
